Payment Processing Policy

Last updated: April 14, 2026

This page explains how payments on this store are processed, who handles your card data, and which security standards apply. It is a supplement to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. Stripe's Own Policies

Stripe has its own privacy and end-user policies that govern how it handles your payment data. These apply in addition to our policies:

2. Payment Processor

All payments on this store are processed by Stripe, Inc. through its Stripe Connect platform, using the destination charges model. This store is a connected account on the marketplace platform; Stripe settles funds to the platform and transfers the settlement to the connected account according to the platform's payout schedule.

3. How Card Data Is Handled

Card details are collected directly by Stripe.js and Stripe Elements -- secure iframe-based components embedded in the checkout page. When you enter your card number, expiry, and CVV, those details are transmitted directly from your browser to Stripe. This store and its servers never see, receive, or store your raw card data at any point -- not even transiently.

4. PCI DSS Compliance

Because card data is collected entirely inside Stripe-hosted iframe elements, this integration qualifies for PCI DSS SAQ A -- the minimal Self-Assessment Questionnaire category for merchants who outsource all cardholder data functions to a PCI DSS-validated third-party provider. Stripe is certified as a PCI Service Provider Level 1, the highest available level.

5. Fraud and 3D Secure

Stripe applies fraud checks to every transaction using Stripe Radar. Based on risk signals, Stripe may automatically trigger a 3D Secure authentication challenge, which asks you to confirm the transaction with your card issuer (for example, via a one-time code). This is a bank-level security step and is outside our control.

6. Disputes and Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorized, please contact us first so we can investigate and resolve it directly. If we cannot resolve the issue, you also have the right to dispute the charge with your card issuer; chargeback claims are handled through Stripe's dispute process.

7. Contact

If you have questions about payment processing, please contact us.
